Transport chassis - for the internal transport of heavy loads

Our transport trolleys are the ideal helpers for in-house heavy-duty transport.  They are characterized by their compact design, have a low dead weight and transport heavy loads such as machines, components, containers and much more safely and reliably 

Due to the low overall height, they are easy to bring under the goods to be conveyed and the low height also reduces the risk of tipping when transporting the goods.  They are usually used in warehouses or in production environments. 

The GKS® transport trolleys have been proven transport systems worldwide for many decades:  

Features of the GKS® transport chassis

• Sturdy construction
• Very low installation height
• All trolleys with the same installation height can be combined with one another
• Rollers tested over many years with a long service life
• Handlebars with towing eyes made of particularly robust materials

The GKS® Rollers  are stored in a closed steel cassette. The many different roller coverings offer a wide range of applications. The rollers, which are coated with an abrasion-resistant special plastic, enable non-marking transport, for example. They also have a very low rolling resistance, which means that the chassis can be moved with very little effort.

The surface of the GKS® chassis is also provided with a non-slip surface (waffle rubber). This ensures that loads are held firmly with a smooth surface. 

Depending on which transport chassis model  is used, loads of up to many tons can be transported. The total carrying capacity can also be increased by combining several transport trolleys.

Transport chassis L – steerable transport chassis: These models have an easy-to-use handlebar and are easy to steer. In addition, the rotatable transport plate allows more leeway when picking up the load. The transported goods can thus be approached and picked up transversely. The robust, scratch and impact resistant steel frame construction is powder coated and the non-slip surface offers additional security when transporting your goods. All transport trolleys are optionally available with nylon or steel rollers.

Transport chassis F – fixed chassis The F transport trolleys are available in several versions. The two separate platforms with casters are connected with one/two spacer rods. The firmly welded tubular steel frame is particularly robust and stable, additionally powder-coated and therefore corrosion-resistant and particularly durable.  The load to be transported is lifted with a lifting device - preferably a Machine jack - raised and the transport chassis pushed under the load. By slowly lowering, the transport chassis now takes on the heavy load and can now be transported safely. GKS® transport trolleys are available with either nylon or steel rollers. Depending on the load capacity required, the number of rollers on the chassis also increases.

Transport chassis set The set, consisting of the steerable chassis L and the fixed chassis F, offers a perfect solution for the safe Transport through the 3-point support.

Tandem Transport Chassis-TL With the tandem trolleys TL long or bulky loads can be moved just as safely.
