Hand pallet truck for warehouse logistics
The hand pallet truck has become indispensable in industry, production and logistics work. It is used wherever scissor goods have to be moved. It can be used to transport pallets, lattice boxes, goods that can be driven under or numerous goods at once. This saves time and energy for the really essential things in everyday work.
Hand pallet truck functions
The long lever handle, called the drawbar, is used to pull, steer, raise and lower the fork of the pallet truck. A pallet that the fork of the hand pallet truck drives under can be effortlessly lifted by repeatedly pumping the drawbar - and transported to the desired location. The forks are lowered by operating a lever on the handle. This opens the hydraulic valve and the cylinder lowers the lift truck fork via the fork attachment.
The load capacity of our various hand pallet truck models ranges from 2.0 t (for standard devices) to a maximum of 5 ,0 t. The fork length of our hand pallet truck ranges from 600 mm to 2500 mm.
Easy maneuvering with a pallet truck: Many storage and production areas are cramped and transporting goods is difficult due to the cramped space. Because there is often not enough space to maneuver with a forklift. This is no longer a problem with our compact pallet truck. All our pallet trucks have a drawbar steering angle of approx. 210°. This makes the pallet trucks very easy to manoeuvre, even when there is little space.

Load capacity of pallet truck:
The load capacity determines the weight with which the industrial truck can be loaded and is therefore particularly important when buying a new device.
→ Pallet truck for 1000 kg and less:
Forklifts with a capacity of 1000 kg or less are mostly used in smaller warehouses. Goods are mostly transported here on display pallets, half Euro pallets or similar.
→ Pallet truck for 2500 kg:
With the load capacity of 2500 kg, most loaded pallets can be transported. Because Euro pallets are designed for a maximum total load of 2000 kg.
→ Pallet truck for 3000 kg:
These pallet trucks are designed for heavy loads. They are used in industry, in production or in the warehouse.

Please note:
The load center (S) must always be taken into account when transporting with a lift truck. Because the center of gravity changes depending on the length, width and height of the load! The maximum load limit of a lift truck, as well as the actual load capacity (which is shown on the type plate) must always be observed!

Hand pallet truck with special fork length
Different fields of work require different Transport devices and of course different lift truck models. Logistics companies and freight forwarders sometimes work in very tight spaces or many goods have to be transported quickly from A to B. This is where pallet trucks with a special fork length are used.
The length of the fork on our pallet trucks can be as short as 800 mm if you want an extremely compact and manoeuvrable transport solution. If, for example, two pallets are to be transported at the same time, pallet trucks with a fork length of 2,500 mm are used. This means that transport can be carried out quickly and efficiently.

Hand pallet truck with brake
Forklift trucks with brakes are ideal for transporting goods very safely. Because in practice, the transport routes for goods are sometimes a bit uneven, maybe even slightly sloping in the outside area or routes may even have a steep incline. Ramps often also have to be managed with lift trucks.
Safe parking of the pallet truck is essential here. With our pallet truck models with a handbrake, safe parking is possible without hesitation: The handbrake is actuated on the handle of the steering drawbar and the pallet truck is safely braked regardless of the position of the castors. Hand pallet truck with quick lift
Lift trucks with quick lift have one major advantage: loads can be lifted particularly quickly with just a few pumping movements - for example, pallets can be lifted and transported with just two hitches of the tiller .
If things have to be done quickly, or if there are many lifting and lowering processes in everyday work, a device with quick lift is absolutely recommended. A top product is our TIGER® 2500 SH G/PP with a load capacity of 2500 kg.

Lift trucks with scales are used where the weight of the goods has to be precisely recorded and documented (e.g. by freight forwarders). Stainless steel pallet truck

Hand pallet truck maintenance:
Over time, dirt and dust can accumulate in the hydraulic system of the device and impair its function. But a low oil level also has a negative effect on the performance of the lift truck. Maintenance work must therefore be carried out at regular intervals. Maintenance work on the lift truck can be carried out by people with technical training or by our service staff. You can easily carry out everyday checks and tests of the hydraulic oil and ventilation on site.
Refill hydraulic oil:
So that the hydraulic pump of the lift truck can correctly transfer the pressure to the lifting device, a sufficient oil level is absolutely necessary. The hydraulic oil must be the same that is already in the hydraulic system of the lift truck! Basically, the device requires very little oil because - unlike an engine - there is hardly any wear. Adding oil to the bottom of the filler neck is sufficient. Additional information can be found in the operating instructions for the device.
Bleeding the pallet truck:
If the movement of the lifting fork decreases during operation, this could be due to air in the hydraulic line. The hydraulic system must be bled here. To do this, bring the lever into the lowering position when it is unloaded and then pump until the air has escaped from the hydraulics. – You can also find more detailed information on this in the operating instructions for the device.
Advantages and disadvantages of hand pallet trucks
Hand pallet trucks are an ideal transport device for the horizontal transport of goods. Easy to use and function, compact, robust and reliable.

Correct wheel material for the hand pallet truck
The right tires for the pallet truck also play a major role. Our pallet trucks are equipped with wheels and castors that can cope with the respective loads for the various requirements of the pallet truck models. Two steering wheels and two fork rollers are usually installed here. In the case of particularly high loads, or for quieter and more comfortable transport, tandem castors are used here, as these double castors distribute the weight better.
