Ball transfer units are now indispensable in the area of transport logistics in the warehouse or in production. They are used wherever goods have to be moved, rotated or positioned. Due to the low frictional resistance of ball transfer units, goods can be easily moved and rotated in all horizontal directions with little effort . Ball transfer units, ball transfer rails and ball transfer tables reduce the amount of work and effort involved in transporting general cargo and at the same time facilitate and optimize the transport of goods in the company.

Our ball transfer units are available in various designs: they are mostly made of plastic, steel or stainless steel. Ball Transfer Units made of Plastic  are particularly suitable for goods made of glass or for transporting sheet steel. Ball Transfer Units with Stainless steel balls are corrosion-resistant and therefore insensitive to oils, petrol, alcohol or similarly aggressive media. These ball transfer units can also be used at high temperatures up to a maximum of 100 °C (higher temperatures on request). The size of the running ball is between 8 and 90 mm.

The housing  of the ball transfer units is galvanized or made of stainless steel. A hardened ball socket serves as a track for a large number of small carrying balls  inside the housing. These carrying beads support the running ball that is visible from the outside and ensure easy, low-friction rolling in all directions. Loads of up to max. 4,000 kg (depending on the ball diameter) can be easily moved without great effort. The maximum conveying speed that can be achieved with ball transfer units is max. 2 m/s. The installation position is arbitrary, but preferably on the ground.

From a size of 22 mm, the ball transfer units are additionally sealed. Here a sealing ring protects the ball transfer unit, at the same time preventing the ingress of foreign bodies or dirt and ensuring that the ball transfer units can also be used in dusty environments.

Type KRT

With the ball roller table, conveyed goods can be moved horizontally in any direction with little effort. Thanks to the ball casters built into the table surface, they are ideal for effortlessly transporting and rotating light and heavy loads. Ball unit tables are suitable for integration between roller conveyors at distribution, turning or ejection points as well as assembly or work tables. Our ball tables are manufactured in any desired size and ball pitch, even for heavy loads, on customer request. The size, the weight and the running surface of the goods to be transported are decisive for the correct design. The frame consists of tubular or sheet steel profiles with welded flat steel struts for reinforcement under the ball table top. The surface is painted in RAL colors according to customer requirements.

• Solid ball transfer units: for extreme applications and impact loads
• Steel ball transfer units: with continuous loads
• Stainless steel balls: use outdoors or in wet conditions
• Plastic balls: if the surface of the transported goods needs to be protected
