Scissor lift truck – the efficient transport solution

A special and very popular variant among the lift trucks is the scissor lift truck. Two functions are combined in one device - namely that of the transport device (lift truck) and the function of a mobile lifting table thanks to the scissor mechanism. This mechanism enables a lifting range of up to 800 mm.
At first glance, the scissor lift truck with the fork lowered does not differ significantly from a normal lift truck. The metal tines of the scissor lift truck can be used to pick up transport pallets, lattice boxes and similar packaging and easily transported on level surfaces.
The lifting height of our scissor lift trucks
Just like a "normal" lift truck, the scissor lift truck has rigid load rollers on the tine tip and two steerable rollers on the handle side of the lift truck. The handle of the scissor lift truck has a dual function: it serves as a handlebar and as a lever for the hydraulic pump, which is used to lift loads. As with other lift trucks, the hydraulic valve for raising and lowering the lift truck is located in the middle of the handle.
The difference between the scissor lift truck and conventional lift truck is its large lifting height. Scissor lift trucks can lift loads up to 800 mm high - the two scissor supports below the fork tines effect this function. As with a conventional lift truck, the fork is raised by pumping the drawbar. The height can be adjusted steplessly and the lifting height can be adjusted to any location. The scissor lift truck is secured even at high lifting heights by support castors or by support feet on the steering wheels. In this way, up to 1,000 kg can easily be brought to any desired working height.
