With our product configurator you can easily find the right castor - filter the entire online product range according to your purchasing criteria. Try it now!

The matching wheels

We haven't reinvented the wheel, but we do offer a variety of special materials for almost every application.
You will find the right ones at Gesa Transporttechnik Wheels and castors.

Features of our bikes:

At first glance, the different bikes differ only slightly. At second glance, however, wheels differ greatly in terms of many different properties. To make your selection a little easier, we have created category pages for you to make your search a little easier:

You can also find wheels with pneumatic tires  in our online shop: Find out about the variety of our Pneumatic tires – super elastic

Our wheels differ not only in load capacity (30-12000 kg), diameter (30-520mm) or < strong>Wheel width (18-320 mm). Of course, the right wheel material also plays an important role when choosing the wheels. In the following section you will find an overview of the various material properties and series types:

Wheels with fixed forks: fixed castors

A fixed castor consists of a wheel and a housing with non-pivoting suspension. In contrast to Swivel castor, which can also be rotated freely vertically, this wheel with fixed fork cannot be swivelled, but it is particularly accurate and suitable for higher speeds.

The rolling resistance  of fixed castors varies depending on the material properties of the wheels or whether the wheels are fitted with a roller bearing , deep groove ball bearings or a plain bearing&nbs p;are equipped. Information on rolling resistance can be found on our product pages using graphic representations.

With our configurator on the category page, you can quickly and easily configure the right role. Choose from the shopping options:

  • Height
  • Diameter
  • Properties
  • Product type
  • Wheel width
  • Wheel material
  • Load capacity

Of course, the properties of the fixed castors also play a decisive role when choosing the right wheels with fixed forks. On our fixed castor category subpages you will find the following products in particular:

In addition to fixed castors for all bikes, GESA also flanged wheels with fixed forks

Wheels with steering forks: Steering rollers

Swivel castors consist of a Wheel in a steering fork with a special mounting option. (You can find more detailed information on this on the category page) Swivel castors can be moved in all directions, because if they are forced in a certain direction, the wheel rotates around the vertical axis of rotation and takes on the new direction of movement.

Optionally, our castors are also available with a total brake in the front or rear and/or with a directional lock, which only fixes the steering movement and thus for the direction of the castor does a fixed roll.

Locking variants for swivel castors:

  • Wheel lock (FST)
It only locks the wheel and not the turntable
  • Total lock (FSTF or FSTR)
It blocks both the wheel and the slewing ring
  • Direction lock (RFST)
It is used to temporarily fix the steering movement. 1x360° or 4x90° (the swivel castor thus becomes a fixed castor for a short time)
  • Locker in the caster (FSTF)
This means that the lock is behind the wheel in the direction of travel, i.e. "runs behind"
  • Fixer in advance (FSTR)
This means that the brake is in front of the wheel in the direction of travel, i.e. "runs ahead"
  • Ideal stop (FSTP or FSTD, FSTZ)
This means that the locking lever/mechanism remains in one position or does not follow the rotation of the castor"

To simplify the search for the different types of castors, you will find the following castors on the subcategory pages - Models:

Special rolls at Gesa

Of course we also have special castors on offer for special applications. In addition to bandages, guide rollers and locking feet, at GESA you will also find wheels for pallet truck and Stacker

Guide rollers

Depending on the area of application, you will find the right guide rollers with us. They are used in conveyor technology, for conveyor lines/conveyor belts, or for sliding doors or room partitions. Whether for indoors, outdoors or for cold and wet applications. Our guide rollers are available with different diameters, widths, load capacities, bearing types and grain lengths.

Bandagen

Wheel bandages are a cost-effective alternative to buying complete wheels, as the core or rim of the wheel is still used. The bandages manufactured with an undersize (Z9 fit) can be pressed onto rims with an h11 fit using a press. Our wheel bandages differ in their properties due to the material.

lifting castors

With our leveling castors, you can move machines and equipment easily and safely. The leveling castors have an integrated, levelable machine foot. The castors are equipped with a polyamide wheel (KN) Ø 75 mm with ball bearing or a polyurethane wheel (PN) Ø 75 mm with ball bearing. The base made of polyamide is black with a diameter of 40 mm and has an anti-slip sole made of NBR rubber.

Truck lock

Our locking feet are the ideal solution for optimal stability of machines and devices that are moved on castors. As a supplement and in combination with castors, locking feet enable the ideal alignment of devices. They are an indispensable component, especially on uneven ground conditions - they reliably secure your machines and transport devices in intralogistics.

Wheels for pallet trucks and forklifts

Transport devices, pallet trucks and forklifts have become indispensable for the transport of goods in companies. Optimum tires for these devices are therefore essential. Our wheels are characterized above all by their material properties such as puncture-proof and unbreakable, they are particularly durable, abrasion-resistant and have a low rolling resistance. Especially in everyday work, it is important that these wheels are largely maintenance-free, have a high resilience and good driving characteristics.

Load wheels – non-driven forklift wheels

Cargo wheels enable the transport of heavy loads. They are used as non-driven forklift wheels  and are available in the wheel materials: polyurethane/NDIIthane or polyamide/polypropylene. These materials are extremely resilient and have the best mechanical properties for abrasion, elasticity and tear resistance. You can find detailed information on wheel properties on the product pages in graphic form or as a .PDF

Drive wheels – driven forklift wheels

Drive wheels transmit the engine power of a forklift truck or industrial truck on the floor surface and the transport device is set in motion. Our drive wheels are available with different diameters and up to a load capacity of 5700 kg as standard. Find the right drive wheels online at GESA or call us - an employee will be happy to advise you on suitable drive wheels for your forklift.

pallet-truck-rollers

Our rollers for pallet trucks are characterized by high quality and durability. Our polyamide castors  are particularly suitable for smooth, level floors, have a high chemical resistance to acids and alkalis and can be used at temperatures from -40 to +90 °C.  Polyurethane/NDIIthane rollers are characterized by very good tear resistance and drive values. The particularly robust and low-wear plastic is resistant to oils, many alkalis and acids and the castors are also suitable for hard and sensitive floors such as asphalt, screed or PVC. Our employees will of course advise you happy to help you choose the right role. Feel free to call us!

Steering-rollers / support-rollers

Our Support rollers are characterized by high quality and robustness. They support the remaining wheels and provide additional stability. At Gesa you will find support wheels and castors for different forklift models. Information about the different models and their properties can be found on the product pages.
