Here you can choose between Steering wheels or fixed castors to choose. Castors can be pivoted vertically, ie they can rotate around their own axis. Fixed castors can only be moved in one direction when hanging, they are very accurate. The combination of two swivel castors and two fixed castors is the most common solution for good manoeuvrability.

The rolling resistance of wheels varies depending on the material properties of the wheels or whether the wheels are equipped with roller bearings, deep groove ball bearings or plain bearings (cf . Fig.)

1. Configure the right bike for you!

At first glance, the different bikes differ only slightly. However, if you take a closer look at them, the wheels differ significantly from each other. There are decisive differences here, especially with regard to wheel material, diameter, load capacity, wheel width or overall height.

These properties play a decisive role when choosing the right bike. With the shopping options in our online shop, you can easily search for the right bike according to your criteria. Simply enter the desired attributes such as overall height, diameter, wheel width, load capacity and wheel material.

In the following section we have tried to briefly list the most important material properties for you to make your choice a little easier.

2. Material science - short and compact

Standard solid rubber wheels
Wheels with standard solid rubber tires are suitable for use on uneven floors. They have a low starting resistance, are quiet, have good maneuverability and are also inexpensive. Sue have a high wear resistance and are also good temperature resistant. Wheels from the WK and WB series also have a grey, non-marking tread.

Elastic solid rubber wheels
Wheels with elastic solid rubber tires have good tear resistance , great rolling comfort and low starting resistance. They are suitable for use on uneven floors, are low-noise, gentle on the floor and have good temperature resistance.

Super-Elastic wheels
Wheels with pneumatic tires are ideal for transporting heavy goods Uneven floors and crossing thresholds are no problem for these bikes. The air-cushioned wheels are particularly floor-friendly and ideal for transporting sensitive goods. They have low starting resistance, good wear resistance and are temperature-resistant.

Polyurethane wheels
Polyurethane/ NDIITHANE® wheels are suitable for sensitive floors and can also be used on uneven and poor ground conditions. They are particularly quiet, have low rolling and starting resistance and are also suitable for higher, high loads. They are resistant to oils, fats and also many acids and alkalis. Polyurethane wheels have good tear resistance and tear propagation resistance and are temperature-resistant at temperatures from -15°C to +80°C.

Polyamide wheels
Polyamide wheels are ideal for use on smooth and level floors . They are impact and shock resistant, have low rolling resistance, are smooth-running, robust and unbreakable. In addition, they have a high load-bearing capacity and are well temperature-resistant. A disadvantage would be that they are relatively noisy when moving due to their nature.

Steel or cast wheels
Steel or cast wheels are due to the material particularly robust and abrasion-resistant. This makes them ideal for continuous use. They have low rolling resistance, are resistant to aggressive substances, are electrically conductive, antistatic and temperature-resistant up to +600°C. Due to the material, they are a little louder when moving and less gentle on the floor, but extremely low-maintenance.

3. Material properties and series types

Depending on the intended use, the material from which the wheel is made plays an important role . Here is an overview of the different materials and series types:

Standard solid rubber wheels

The wheel material is particularly characterized by the fact that it is gentle on the floor and has low starting resistance. It is suitable for uneven and poor soil conditions, has a high wear resistance and has good temperature resistance

Wheels of the GK series consist of an injection-moulded, black polypropylene rim onto which a black standard solid rubber tire with a hardness of approx. 82° Shore A is pressed. The wheels are optionally available with plain or roller bearings.

Wheels of the WK series consist of an injection-moulded, black polypropylene rim onto which a grey, non-marking standard solid rubber tire with a hardness of approx. 82° Shore A is pressed. The wheels are optionally available with plain or roller bearings.

Wheel series GB

Tread: Standard solid rubber 82 ° Shore A  

GB series wheels consist of a metal rim riveted several times onto which a black standard solid rubber tire with a hardness of approx. 82° Shore A is pressed. The wheels are available with roller bearings as standard.

WB series

Wheels in the WB series consist of a sheet metal rim that is riveted several times to which a gray non standard solid rubber tire with a hardness of approx. 82° Shore A is pressed on. The wheels are available with roller bearings as standard.

Elastic solid rubber wheels

The wheel material is particularly characterized by good tear resistance, has low starting resistance and great rolling comfort, high wear resistance and is good temperature resistance and gentle on the floor.

Wheels of the DN series consist of a polyamide rim on the one high-quality, black ELASTIC® rubber tire in wheel quality with a hardness of approx. 63° Shore A is directly vulcanized on. The wheels are equipped with roller or deep groove ball bearings.

WN wheel series
Load capacity: 180-500 kg
Tread: Elastic rubber 63° Shore A

Wheels of the WN series consist of a polyamide rim A high-quality, grey ELASTIC® rubber tyre in running wheel quality with a hardness of approx. 63° Shore A is directly vulcanized onto it. The wheels are equipped with roller or deep groove ball bearings.

Wheels of the BN series consist of a black polyamide -Wheel center onto which a high-quality, blue ELASTIC® rubber tire in wheel quality with a hardness of approx. 63° Shore A is directly vulcanized. The wheels are equipped with roller or deep groove ball bearings.

DE series wheels consist of an aluminum rim onto which a high-quality, black ELASTIC® rubber tyre in wheel quality with a hardness of approx. 63° Shore A is vulcanized directly . The wheels are available with groove ball bearings as standard. 

GS series wheels consist of a steel rim onto which a high-quality, black ELASTIC® rubber tyre in wheel quality with a hardness of 73° Shore A is directly vulcanized or pressed becomes. The wheels are available with groove ball bearings as standard.

WE wheel series
Load capacity: 200-500 kg

Tread: Elastic rubber 63° Shore A

Wheels of the GG series consist of a cast rim on a high-quality, black ELASTIC® rubber tires in impeller quality with a hardness of approx. 63° Shore A that is directly vulcanized or pressed on. The wheels are available with groove ball bearings as standard.

Wheels of the GS series consist of a Steel rim onto which a high-quality, black ELASTIC® rubber tyre in impeller quality with a hardness of approx. 73° Shore A is directly vulcanized or pressed. The wheels are available with groove ball bearings as standard.

Wheels with pneumatic tires - super elastic wheels

Super-Elastic wheels or wheels with pneumatic tyres, consisting of a wheel body with a roller bearing and a pneumatic tyre. They are preferably used when transporting shock-sensitive products or when transporting on rough, uneven surfaces.  Since air-filled wheels are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, you will find these types of wheels on a variety of transport equipment, transport carts or even wheelbarrows.

NOTE:
Please make sure to check the air pressure regularly. If the amount of air in the tires decreases, the load capacity of the wheels also decreases

Material properties short and compact:
The wheel material is characterized in particular by the fact that it is particularly gentle on the floor and has a low starting resistance. It is suitable for uneven and poor soil conditions, has good wear resistance and is temperature-resistant.  

Advantages of air-filled wheels:
• Ideal for transporting heavy goods on uneven ground
• Crossing thresholds is no problem
• The air cushion protects sensitive floors
• Cushioning when transporting sensitive goods

Our air wheels also differ in terms of the wheel profile. A distinction is made here between a groove profile and a block profile: 

Groove profile:
• Grooves run parallel or diagonally
• extremely smooth running
• optimum shock absorption
• ideal for transporting sensitive loads
• best handling even on wet surfaces
• particularly suitable for sensitive floors  

Block profile or lug profile:
• ideal for uneven floors
• extremely robust and durable
• suitable for soft and hard surfaces
• shock-resistant
• weatherproof

Wheel series GBL
Load capacity: 75 - 250 kg
Tread: Rubber 

Wheels from the GBL series a pneumatic tire with a tube on a galvanized sheet steel rim. The tires are available with groove and block profiles and, depending on the variant, the wheels contain roller or grooved ball bearings. The wheels of the GBL series can be used at temperatures from -25 °C to +50 °C.

Wheels series GKL
Load capacity: 75 - 250 kg
Tread: Rubber

Wheels of the GKL series with grooved or Lug profile, with tube. Gentle on the floor. Low rolling resistance on uneven floors. Plastic rim.

SEB wheel series
Load capacity: 195-1650 kg
Tread: rubber

Wheels of the SEB series are wheels with tires made of vulcanized elastic rubber with three components on a galvanized sheet steel rim. The tires are available with grooved (RIB) and block profile (LUG) and the wheels are equipped with grooved ball bearings. The wheels of the SEB series can be used at temperatures from -25° C to +80° C.

Wheel series PUK/ PUS
Load capacity: 100 – 140 kg
Tread: polyurethane 

Wheels from the PUK / PUS series are wheels with a tread made of foamed polyurethane on a plastic rim (PUK) or steel rim (PUS). The wheels are an alternative to pneumatic tires! They are puncture-proof, non-marking, vibration-dampening, with low rolling resistance.

Polyurethane / NDIITHANE® tires:

Our polyurethane wheels are characterized by their low starting and rolling resistance. They are highly resilient, have a load capacity of 40 - 4900 kg, are extremely low-wear and also very friendly to the floor. >

Material properties short and compact:
The wheel material is particularly characterized by a very low rolling and starting resistance and is also extremely quiet. Polyurethane wheels are suitable for uneven and poor floor conditions, they are resistant to oils, fats and also many acids and alkalis. They have very good traction properties, they are cut-resistant and have good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The temperature resistance is included approx. -15°C to +80°C.

Tread: Thermogrey® Industrial

EP series wheels consist of a light gray polypropylene rim onto which dark gray TPE tires (thermoplastic elastomer) of approx. 65° Shore A are sprayed. The wheels are available with groove ball bearings as standard.

Wheel series EP-ELF
Load capacity: 135 kg
Tread: Thermogrey® Industrial

Wheels of the EP ELF series are electrically conductive, consist of a light gray polypropylene rim onto which a dark gray TPE tire (thermoplastic elastomer) approx. 70° Shore A is sprayed. The wheels are available with groove ball bearings as standard. 

Wheel series PK
Load capacity: 150 -550 kg
Tread: Topthane® 92° Shore A

PK series wheels consist of an injected, natural-colored polyamide rim onto which a polyurethane tire, Topthane® 92° Shore A, is cast. The Topthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant and has low starting and rolling resistance. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance.

 

Wheel series DS
Load capacity: 150 -500 kg
Tread: Polyurethane 96° Shore A

Wheels of the DS series have a pearl ruby red tread made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with a hardness of 96° Shore A, which is injected onto a polyamide rim (PA 6). The wheels are equipped with roller or deep groove ball bearings.

Wheel series DS-ELF
Load capacity: 150 – 500 kg

Tread: Polyurethane 95°  Shore A

Wheels of the DS-ELF series have a tread made of thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) injected onto a polyamide (PA 6) rim. It is a blue tire with approx. 95 Shore A on a gray rim. The wheels are electrically conductive (dissipation speed < 10,000 Ω), with ball bearings. 

Wheel series EE
Load capacity: 170 -1000 kg
Tread: Elasthane® 65° Shore A

Wheels of the EE series consist of an aluminum rim on which a soft polyurethane tire, Elasthane® 65° Shore A, is poured on. The Elasthane® tire bonded to the rim with a special adhesion promoter is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, very good traction properties and is extremely quiet. > The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with a groove ball bearing as standard.

TE wheel series
Load capacity: 200-1150 kg
Tread: Redthane® 75° Shore A

Wheels in the TE series consist of an aluminum rim on which a soft polyurethane tire, Redthane® 75° Shore A, is poured on. The Redthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, very good traction properties and is extremely < strong>driving strong>Low-noise. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with groove ball bearings as standard.

TG series wheel
Load capacity: 700-1500 kg
Tread: Redthane® 75° Shore A

Wheels of the TG series consist of a cast rim made of high-quality Cast iron on which a soft polyurethane tire, Redthane® 75° Shore A, is cast. The Redthane® tire connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, very good traction properties and runs extremely quietly > The tire is cut-resistant with very good tear resistance and tear propagation resistance values. The wheels are equipped with a deep groove ball bearing.

Wheel series ME

Tread: Midthane® 85° Shore A

ME series wheels consist of a one-piece aluminum rim, onto which a soft polyurethane tire, Midthane® 85° Shore A, is poured. The Midthane® tire, which is bonded to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, very good traction properties and is extremely quiet. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values in tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with groove ball bearings as standard. 

MG series wheel
Load capacity: 340-2750 kg
Tread: Midthane® 85° Shore A

MG series wheels consist of a cast rim made of high-quality gray cast iron, onto which a soft polyurethane tire, Midthane® 85° Shore A, is cast . The Midthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, very good traction properties and is extremely quiet. > The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with a groove ball bearing. 

PE wheel series
Load capacity: 270-1550 kg
Tread: Topthane ® 92° Shore A

Wheels in the PE series consist of a one-piece die-cast aluminum rim which a polyurethane tyre, Topthane® 92° Shore A, is poured on. The Topthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant and has low rolling and starting resistance. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with groove ball bearings.

PG series wheel
Load capacity: 420-3350 kg
Tread: Topthane® 92° Shore A

Wheels of the PG series consist of a cast rim made of high-quality Gray cast iron onto which a polyurethane tire, Topthane® 92° Shore A, is cast. The Topthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant and has low rolling and starting resistance. The tire is cut-resistant with very good Values in tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with groove ball bearings.

VG series wheel
Load capacity: 420-4900 kg
Tread: NDIIThane® 92° Shore A

Wheels of the VG series consist of a cast rim made of high-quality Gray cast iron onto which a Ndiithane coating with 92° Shore A is cast. The Ndiithane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant and has low rolling and starting resistance. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values in tear resistance and Tear resistance. The wheels are equipped with groove ball bearings.

Tread: Rockthane® 96° Shore A

Wheels from the RE series consist of a one-piece aluminum rim, onto which a hard polyurethane tire, Rockthane® 96° Shore A, is poured. The Rockthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, good traction properties and moves low-noise. Wheels of the RG series consist of a Cast rim made of high-quality gray cast iron, on which a polyurethane tyre, Rockthane® 96° Shore A, is cast. The Rockthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, very good traction properties and drives >Extremely quiet. Polyamide/Nylon Wheels

In our product range you will find a wide range of wheels and castors in different designs. Our polyamide wheels differ not only in load capacity (40 - 8000 kg), diameter (50 - 400 mm) or in wheel width (20 - 80 mm). The right wheels and castors are an absolute prerequisite for the efficient transport of goods. Polyamide wheels and castors from Gesa are characterized by their versatile properties.

Material properties short and compact:
Polyamide wheels are particularly suitable for use on smooth and level floors, they have low rolling resistance, very smooth running and a long service life. Polyamide wheels and castors are robust and unbreakable and are often used on a variety of transport equipment used. Temperature resistance is around -30°C to +80°C.

Wheels of the KND series are injection-moulded plastic wheels made of high-quality polyamide PA 6 in colour natural (white). The wheels have an ELASTIC® damping ring between the tread and the wheel body. The wheels are available with roller or deep groove ball bearings as standard.

Wheels in the PP series have injection-moulded plastic wheels made of high-quality colored polypropylene natural (white). The wheels are available with roller bearings as standard.

Wheels in the PP-ELF series are electric conductive injected plastic wheels made of high-quality polypropylene in black. The wheels are available with deep groove ball bearings as standard.

Wheel series KN

Tread: Polyamide 

Wheels in the KN series are injection-moulded plastic wheels made from high-quality polyamide PA 6 in natural color (white) in heavy version. The wheels are optionally available with plain or grooved ball bearings.

KS wheel series
Load capacity: 250-1700 kg
Tread:polyamide

Wheels of the KS series are heavy-duty injection-moulded plastic wheels made of high-quality polyamide PA 6 in the color natural (white). The wheels are optionally available with plain or grooved ball bearings.

Wheel series KSG
Load capacity: 1500-12000 kg
Tread: polyamide

Wheels of the KSG series are turned cast polyamide wheels made of high-quality polyamide PA 6 G in the color natural (white) in a super-heavy version. The wheels are available with deep groove ball bearings as standard. Cast polyamide is at temperatures of -25°  C to +80°  C can be used.

Steel rollers and cast wheels

At Gesa Transporttechnik you will find cast iron wheels and steel castors in various designs as well as swivel castors and fixed castors of various series types. Steel and cast wheels are characterized above all by the fact that they can be used as heavy-duty castors. In order to make your selection a little easier, we have created a brief overview of these wheels and castors for you below.

Material properties short and compact:
Steel and cast wheels are mainly used as heavy-duty castors because they are extremely pressure-resistant. They are particularly hard-wearing and have a low rolling resistance. They have a high resistance to aggressive substances and are resistant to oils and chips. Wheels made from these materials are also electrically conductive, antistatic and temperature-resistant up to +600°C.

Tread: Cast iron

Wheels of the G series are unbreakable and heat-resistant cast wheels made of high-quality gray cast iron. The wheels are available with plain bearings as standard and are temperature-resistant up to +600° C.

Series S
Load capacity: 1500 - 12000 kg
Tread: Steel

Wheels of the S series have unbreakable and heat-resistant steel wheels. The wheels are available with ball bearings as standard, but can be equipped with tapered roller bearings on request. Can be used at temperatures of -25°  up to +120° C.

Flanged wheels

Flanged wheels from Gesa ensure that your transport equipment stays on track. The wheels are characterized by an extremely high load capacity, are very abrasion-resistant and have a very low rolling resistance. Our wheels and castors are mainly used in mechanical and plant engineering. Special conditions prevail here, such as high temperatures or even temperatures down to -25°C, the wheels may come into contact with oils and chips more frequently here, or other special environmental conditions prevail. At Gesa Transporttechnik you will find various series types of flanged wheels for the respective areas of application, as well as flanged wheels as fixed castors with either plain or ball bearings.

Wheels of the TKSPK series are made of high-quality thermoplastic material Manufactured from polyamide. Wheel flange and tread 3° rising.

KSSGSPK series
Load capacity: 35 - 380 kg
Tread: Thermoplastic material

Flanged wheels of the KSGSPK series are made of unbreakable, Tough, hard and highly compressed cast polyamide PA 6 natural 80° +/-3° Shore D. Wheel flange and tread 3° rising, temperature-resistant from -40° to + 100° C.

GSPK series
Load capacity: 400 – 3000 kg
Tread: Cast iron

Flanged wheels of the GSPK series are made of robust special gray cast iron. Wheel flange and tread are stripped. Tread rising 3° to the axis, extremely wear-resistant, varnished.

SSPK series

SDSPK series

Tread: Steel 

Double flanged wheels (gate rollers) of the SDSPK series are turned from high-quality heat-treated steel. With wheel flanges on both sides, 90° V-shaped, cleanly turned out. Deep groove ball bearing.

Stainless steel wheels

These wheels can be used in damp environments without hesitation. In the case of swivel castors and fixed castors in particular, the wheel housing is made of stainless steel/Nirosta, but the loose stainless steel wheel can also be ordered from Gesa Transporttechnik.

Wheels from the AKN series are injection-moulded plastic wheels made from polyamide PA 6. Color white. They can be used at temperatures from -15° C to +80° C.

ATP series

Tread: Thermoplastic rubber 82° Shore A

Wheels from the ATP series consist of a light gray polypropylene Rim on which a dark gray thermoplastic rubber approx. 82° Shore A is sprayed. The wheels are available with plain or deep groove ball bearings as standard.

KN series
Load capacity: 150 – 550 kg
Tread: polyamide

Wheels in the KN series are injection-moulded plastic wheels made from high-quality polyamide PA 6 in the color natural (white). The wheels are optionally available with plain, roller or grooved ball bearings. Polyamide 6 can be used at temperatures from – 40° to + 60° C.

GFK series
Load capacity: 150 - 400 kg
Tread: Polyamide 

Wheels in the GFK series are injection-moulded plastic wheels made from high-quality polyamide PA 6 with fiberglass. The wheels run smoothly on slippery floors, are unbreakable under high loads and largely resistant to salt water, alkalis and acids. GRP wheels can be used at temperatures from -40° to +180° C.

Series EP
Load capacity: 135 - 250 kg
Tread: TPE 65° Shore A

EP series wheels consist of a light gray polypropylene Rim on which a dark gray TPE tire (thermoplastic elastomer) approx. 65° Shore A is sprayed on. The wheels are equipped with a rustproof deep groove ball bearing.

BN series
Load capacity: 180 - 400 kg
Tread: elastic rubber 63° Shore A

BN series wheels consist of a polyamide rim on which a high-quality, blue ELATIC rubber tire in running wheel quality with a hardness of approx. 63 Shore A is vulcanized. The wheels are equipped with a rustproof roller bearing.

DS series
Load capacity: 150 - 500 kg
Tread: Rockplast 96° Shore A

Wheels of the DS series have a pearl ruby red tread made of thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) with a hardness of 96 Shore A, which is injected onto a polyamide rim (PA 6). The wheels are equipped with a stainless roller bearing.

DSW series
Load capacity: 120 - 400 kg
Tread: Rockplast 82° Shore A

Wheels in the DSW series have a blue tread made of thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) with a hardness of 82° Shore A, which is injected onto a polyamide rim (PA6). The wheels are equipped with a rustproof roller bearing.

Heat-resistant wheels

These wheels are made of high-quality material and, depending on the series type, have a diameter of 60-200 mm and a maximum load capacity of 1000 kg available. In the following section you will find a list of our series types with a compact product description.

KNGF series
Load capacity: 250 – 900 kg
Tread: -30° to + 150° C Polyamide 6

Wheels of the KNGF series are one-piece molded plastic wheels made of high-quality Glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6, heat resistant up to +150° C. The wheels have a very high chemical resistance to many aggressive media. 100% suitable for all sectors of the food industry, 100% recyclable. Recommended for use in wet and hot conditions, suitable for steam tunnels and salt water.

KPMTW series
Load capacity: 180 - 520 kg
Tread: -40° to + 300° C Polyamide 6

Wheels from the KPMTW series are made from high-quality compounds and special fibres one-piece injection-moulded DITHERM wheels, heat-resistant up to +300 °C. High chemical resistance to many aggressive media. They meet all recommended flammability, smoke and toxicity standards. 100% suitable for the food industry and for any oven application that requires a continuous temperature up to +280°C - with peaks of +300°C. Also for cooling areas down to -40° C. DITHERM wheels have excellent resistance to temperature differences.

KPSTW series
Load capacity: 300 -1000 kg
Tread: -70° to + 280° C ditherm

Wheels of the KPSTW series are made of a special THT composite material , temperature resistant from -70° to +280° C, resistant to breakage and chipping. They are highly resistant to chemicals, oils and harsh cleaning agents. Minimum rolling resistance due to the characteristics of the material, which ensures silent running even with the plain bearing design. Non-chalking

GKH series
Capacity: max. 120 kg
Tread: -40° to + 260° C rubber 72° Shore A

Wheels from the GKH series consist of a DITHERM rim onto which a special, heat-resistant rubber tread 72° Shore A is vulcanised. For extremely high temperatures up to +260 °C. Due to the special manufacturing process, the wheels are of the highest quality, durable and versatile.

Depending on the series type, our guide rollers and drive wheels are made of high-quality material. They have a diameter of 22 - 500 mm and a maximum load capacity of 5700 kg. available.

Tread: Topthane 92° Shore A

PS series wheels consist of a steel rim onto which a polyurethane tire, Wicke-Topthane® 92 Shore A, is cast. The Topthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant and has low rolling and starting resistance. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with deep groove ball bearings.

VSFR series
Load capacity: 55- 230 kg
Tread: Ndiithane® 92° Shore A

Wheels of the VSFR series consist of a steel rim on which a covering, Ndiithane® 92° Shore A, is poured on. The Ndiithane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant and has low rolling and starting resistance. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with deep groove ball bearings.

VSN/VGN series
Load capacity: 240 – 5700 kg
Tread: Vulkollan 92 Shore A

Drive wheels of the VSN/VGN series consist of a steel or Cast wheel body with fitting hole H7 and groove according to DIN 6885, onto which a Ndiitane tire with a hardness of approx. 92° Shore A is cast (also suitable for high dynamic loads.

Drive wheels

Drive wheels transmit the engine power of a forklift or floor conveyor to the floor surface and the transport device is set in motion. Drive wheels consist of the wheel center and the tread, which is poured on or pulled on. Depending on the tread or the drive wheel series, our wheels differ in their properties. Treads made of polyurethane, for example, protect the floor, are quiet and also have low rolling resistance. Our drive wheels are available with different diameters and up to a load capacity of 5700 kg as standard.

Load wheels

Load wheels enable the transport of high loads, as their robust and stable construction makes them particularly suitable for this. They are used as non-driven forklift wheels and are available in the wheel materials polyurethane/NDIIthane and polyamide/polypropylene. These materials offer the advantage that they are extremely resilient. They have the best mechanical properties for abrasion, elasticity and tear resistance. This results in long operating times and low maintenance costs.
