Swivel castor, wheel type RE

Sheet steel housing with panel mounting. There is a sealed 2RS ball bearing in the clevis. The ball bearing is protected against the ingress of dirt and dust. The base plate with four bolting holes is firmly screwed to the fork part and secured to ensure the greatest possible ease of movement with the smallest amount of play in the fork head.

Wheels in the RE series consist of a one-piece aluminum rim on which a hard polyurethane tire, Wicke Rockthane® 96° Shore A, is poured on. The Rockthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, good traction properties and runs quietly. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are fitted with deep groove ball bearings as standard.
