Swivel castor, wheel type RE

Sheet steel housing with panel mounting. Fork head with double ball ring and hardened bearing shells. The greased ball tracks are protected against the ingress of dirt and dust with sealing rings. The base plate is firmly screwed to the fork part and secured, while we ensure that there is little play in the fork head with the greatest possible ease of movement. In the series, the load is absorbed by a spring assembly consisting of a steel compression spring and an elastomer spring element. The spring forces can be varied by using other spring packages on customer request.

Wheels in the RE series consist of a one-piece aluminum rim onto which a hard polyurethane tire, Wicke Rockthane® 96° Shore A, is cast. The Rockthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, good traction properties and runs quietly. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are fitted with deep groove ball bearings as standard.
