Sheet steel housing with plate mounting. There is a sealed 2RS ball bearing in the fork crown. The ball bearing is protected against the ingress of dirt and dust. The base plate with four screw holes is firmly screwed to the fork part and secured to ensure the greatest possible ease of movement with the least play in the fork head.

Wheels in the RE series consist of a one-piece aluminum rim with a hard polyurethane tire, wick Rockthane® 96° Shore A, is poured on. The Rockthane® tire, which is bonded to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, good traction properties and runs quietly. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear resistance. The wheels are equipped with deep groove ball bearings as standard.
