Steering forks with plate attachment from the LAK series are super-heavy-duty welded steel constructions. The slewing ring in the fork head is supported twice with an axial grooved ball bearing (DIN 711/ISO 104) and tapered roller bearing (DIN 720/ISO 355). Although the bearings are lubricated for life, they can also be relubricated via a grease nipple if necessary. The fork part and fork head are screwed together with a very robust central bolt and secured with a spot weld, the fork is yellow chromated.
Wheels in the PG series consist of a cast rim made of high-quality gray cast iron on which a polyurethane tire, Wicke Topthane® 92° Shore A, being infused. The Topthane® tire, which is connected to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant and has low rolling and starting resistance. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear propagation resistance. The wheels are equipped with deep groove ball bearings.
