Sheet steel housing with plate mounting. Fork head with double ball race and hardened bearing shells. The greased ball tracks are protected with sealing rings against the ingress of dirt and dust. The base plate is screwed firmly to the fork part and secured; we ensure that there is little play in the fork head and that it moves as smoothly as possible. In the series, the load is absorbed via a spring package consisting of a steel compression spring and an elastomer spring element. The spring forces can be varied using other spring packages upon customer request.

Wheels in the ME series consist of a one-piece aluminum rim onto which a soft polyurethane tire, Wicke Midthane® 85° Shore A, is cast. The Midthane® tire, which is bonded to the rim with a special adhesion promoter, is abrasion-resistant, has low rolling and starting resistance, very good traction properties and runs extremely quietly. The tire is cut-resistant with very good values for tear resistance and tear resistance. The wheels are equipped with deep groove ball bearings as standard. Fv: 550; Fe: 5500; Fw: 30
